Dr. Still donates his time one afternoon per month at Denver's inner city health clinic in the 5 points area of Denver. This is a clinic that serves the poor of Denver. Dr. Still donates some of his free time to philanthropic work in Mexico. He originally started going to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in 2001 to do volunteer work. Dr. Still traveled there as the director of the Casa Hospital podiatry program for one week a year from 2001-2004. In 2006 the Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation took over and Dr. Still recently traveled there with them for 5 days (June 21-25, 2010). This recent trip was our most succesful to date with a team of podiatrists seeing over 600 patients and performing 26 surgeries in the govt. hospital in San Miguel. Dr. Still also was there for 5 days in October, 2008. The Texas foundation now has several devoted podiatrists and podiatric surgery residents traveling to San Miguel one-two times a year for one week of clinics and surgeries. We focus on treating the poor of the area who would normally never have access to a foot and ankle surgeon. The project in San Miguel is always in need of donations because it operates completely from donations.
